Custom Apron with Ann Butler Designs

Hello Friends! today I am stopping by to share this fun custom apron with Ann Butler Designs.

Custom Apron with Ann Butler Designs

I guess I love making things for my daughter as I have quite a few projects customized for her and she loves making things for me because I have more artwork and hearts than I know what to do lol.......though I love her little surprises for me.....like today I got a heart card in the mail from her.

Products Used:
Stickles

This was such a quick project to put together. First I stamped the name using Crafter's ink blueberry and Ann Butler's 2" ABC stamp set. The ink pads are so juicy and work so well with fabric that I absolutely enjoyed working. I am sure you know how frustrating it can get when the products you use don't work like they should.

Then I stamped with Ann Butler's faux quilt stamps and i cannot tell you how much I love these innovative stamps they are so much fun to work with.

Lastly I stamped the Checks 1 stamp and blinged it up using stickles.

Customized Faux Quilt stamp background

A very sunny hello to everybody, today its really nice outside which is so uplifting and life seems very sunny. I popping in to share this beautiful card that I made using Ann Butler Designs 1" leaves all over stamp set by unity stamp company and the image is from Chi Chi memories (CCM).

First I stamped the background using Ann Butler Design faux quilt stamps by Unity Stamp Company and Ann Butler Crafters limelight ink, then colored the flowers in the stamped image with copic markers and used stickles to give the paper a sparkly shine, absolutely love the way the background turned out and decided to make it the focal point. The girl image is from CCM which I colored with copics and sentiment is from Just Rite grand sentiments.

Ohhh those products...........

So a few days ago I walk into my craft area just to admire all the crafty goodness I have accumulated , thinking about the clothes/shoes I did not buy because my eyes were set on that one tool or stamp I wanted  instead and I am feeling all happy and excited until of course my eyes catch those products that I brought but for some reason was never able to use them, so now some buyer’s remorse kicks in and I  walk out only to come back 5 minutes later as an awesome idea hit me to use atleast one of the products.

I made these earrings with acrylic mini tags I had brought………. oh I don’t even remember but probably the first things when I started building my stash. The earrings were so easy to make especially with the earth safe finish iridescent inks, love this product so versatile and easy to use. Here is a small tutorial to show the way I made these but you can use your imagination to create some unique pieces. First I stamped the tag with Ann Butler Unity faux quilt stamp embossed it with clear embossing powder, be sure to keep moving the heat gun a little or else the tags start deforming, then I sponged some iridescent ink to give it a hint of color and shimmer, one of the earring I just sponged the earth finish ink directly on the tag and it dried beautifully used some copper powder did I mention I love the Ann Butler iridescent inks already……to finish my earrings I covered them with a layer of liquid glass.

While making these earrings my 3yr old daughter walks in and asks “what are you making mama”, I said earrings and she looking at my desks quickly says “how many are you making?”………….ok so maybe I got a little carried away but in my books a girl can never have enough earrings :). Thanks for stopping by……

Ann Butler Design's Faux Quilt Cards

Hello everybody I am so excited today to be posting my first project for Ann Butler Design here on my blog. Today's project is part 2 of the card box tutorial I posted on Ann Butler's blog, incase you missed it you can find it here.  here is a sneak peak.

So now for the part 2 of this project. I made cards to go inside the box. Actually the cards were pretty easy and fast to put together. I used the Ann Butler Design faux quilt stamps to stamp and then heat embossed with clear embossing powder and them spread black ink to brighten up my image. I also made matching envelopes with the cards. I absolutely loved creating this project. The faux quilt stamps make it so easy to make customized background......A brilliant design I must say.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you enjoyed the project.
