Adorable

Isn't she adorable and to top it she is free....absolutely adore this image it makes you want to color her. This card is a little different from my usual style but I love the way it turned out and the color combination. Hand ripped the orange cardstock, embossed it and stuck my girl. Hope you are able to notice the two pearls earrings she is wearing :). Grab her and enter CCM monthly challenge.

Ohhh those products...........

So a few days ago I walk into my craft area just to admire all the crafty goodness I have accumulated , thinking about the clothes/shoes I did not buy because my eyes were set on that one tool or stamp I wanted  instead and I am feeling all happy and excited until of course my eyes catch those products that I brought but for some reason was never able to use them, so now some buyer’s remorse kicks in and I  walk out only to come back 5 minutes later as an awesome idea hit me to use atleast one of the products.

I made these earrings with acrylic mini tags I had brought………. oh I don’t even remember but probably the first things when I started building my stash. The earrings were so easy to make especially with the earth safe finish iridescent inks, love this product so versatile and easy to use. Here is a small tutorial to show the way I made these but you can use your imagination to create some unique pieces. First I stamped the tag with Ann Butler Unity faux quilt stamp embossed it with clear embossing powder, be sure to keep moving the heat gun a little or else the tags start deforming, then I sponged some iridescent ink to give it a hint of color and shimmer, one of the earring I just sponged the earth finish ink directly on the tag and it dried beautifully used some copper powder did I mention I love the Ann Butler iridescent inks already……to finish my earrings I covered them with a layer of liquid glass.

While making these earrings my 3yr old daughter walks in and asks “what are you making mama”, I said earrings and she looking at my desks quickly says “how many are you making?”………….ok so maybe I got a little carried away but in my books a girl can never have enough earrings :). CCM March release

Such a cute boy image and perfect way to welcome warmer weather. My card base is 5x7. Die cut with some border dies and inked the image with my copics. To finish the card I embellished it with lace and ribbon.

Ann Butler Design's Faux Quilt Cards

Hello everybody I am so excited today to be posting my first project for Ann Butler Design here on my blog. Today's project is part 2 of the card box tutorial I posted on Ann Butler's blog, incase you missed it you can find it here.  here is a sneak peak.

So now for the part 2 of this project. I made cards to go inside the box. Actually the cards were pretty easy and fast to put together. I used the Ann Butler Design faux quilt stamps to stamp and then heat embossed with clear embossing powder and them spread black ink to brighten up my image. I also made matching envelopes with the cards. I absolutely loved creating this project. The faux quilt stamps make it so easy to make customized background......A brilliant design I must say.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you enjoyed the project.

Cards made with CCM images

February is here which means love is in the air.....and you could not say it better than the images released this month by Chi Chi Memories, after all a picture is worth a thousand words. The image sending my love was fun to color and made the card come together real fast. Thought of making a circular card because love knows no end.....hope I have inspired you to grab the image and share your creation.

There is something romantic about this card and a nice fit too since its valentine's day. I love this image. once i colored my image I layered my card with a lot of layers before setting my image in to give it the extra oopmf.....

I absolutely love all the images released this month especially this one as my daughter loves cupcakes. For my card I layered the base with cardstock and dies, inked this cutie with copic markers and framed it using the spellbinders marvelous squares.

This month's release has been my favorite every image is a cutie and versatile. For my card I used the image secret admirer inked her up and made this invitation for a surprise party.
